In less than a month, Rommel “The Legacy” Caballero steps back into the ring for his fifth professional fight. According to Golden Boy Promotions, Caballero's bout is the first fight of the evening on February 9, 2019 at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, CA. No mention of his opponent. BoxRec.com indicates super featherweight Thomas Smith (5 wins, 6 losses, 3 KO’s, 1 draw).
Caballero has proven to be a force to reckon with. Last year Caballero made his professional debut (April 2018) in front of his hometown and since then he has delivered four consecutive wins and signed a contract with Golden Boy. This year, fight fans will be seeing even more of Caballero due to his busy schedule. Caballero said “I’m scheduled for six fights this year. 2019 is going to be an exciting year.” His boxing record stands
solid at 4 wins, 0 losses, and 3 KO’s. He’s asking fight fans to arrive early to the event because “I’m the very first fight of the night” said Caballero.
